About the Role
Job Scope
The Electronic Service Technician (Contractor) designs and develops machinery, lighting, and acoustic systems for sport simulator installation projects.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of electronics, lighting, and acoustic systems and components.
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems.
• Analyze ventilation, vibration, and structure of electronic systems.
• Supervise and inspect the installation and modification at event sites.
• Develop technical support standards and provide guidance to industrial maintenance crews.
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected technical problems.
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial projects.
• Supervise and review designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
Requirements
Qualification
Completion of a two- to three-year college program in electronics and mechanics or completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in mechanical and electronic servicing and repair or completion of high school or college courses in mechanics and electronics and on-the-job training is required.
